The bar area and restaurant are modern, providing a welcoming vibe that's hard to beat. The views from the rooms are absolutely stunning, especially from those with a sea view, making mornings a treat.
Many parts of the establishment lack refurbishment, with decor that feels dated and in need of attention. The heat in the bedrooms can be overwhelming, potentially making for uncomfortable nights. the pool facilities are limited, with only one changing room and flooring that could use an update for safety.

the marine hotel in llandudno was a really great surprise! the location is superb, right on the beach and close to shops. our family room was clean and comfy, and we had an amazing view of the sea. breakfast was delish, with good options and the staff were super friendly and attentive. the atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and welcoming!
but we had some issues with hot water in the bathroom and had to wait a long time for the bar food one evening. also, the pool was out of order which was disappointing.

The elegant promenade and the beautifully restored Victorian architecture made our stay quite memorable. The kids loved the evening entertainment, especially the quiz and bingo night. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed some lovely family moments there.
My kids wished the pool area had dedicated changing rooms instead of the ones being out of service.

I recently stayed for a weekend at The Marine and the location was perfect. It’s right by the seafront, making it easy to explore local shops and attractions. The sea view room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee supplied in the room. Breakfast was decent, with simple options that worked for me. I liked the friendly staff during meal times, who were always helpful. Entertainment in the evening added a nice touch to the stay, although it could vary in quality. I faced some significant issues during my stay. The room itself felt dated and could really use some refurbishment. The bathroom facilities were cramped and in need of an upgrade. I experienced connectivity issues with the WiFi, which made it frustrating to do a bit of work while I was there. On one evening, noise from outside kept me awake later than I would have liked. There seemed to be a lack of soundproofing that made me hear every movement in the hallways and nearby rooms. The parking situation also needs clarity. I encountered confusion regarding charges and availability, leading to some frustration as I had to park further away than anticipated. Lastly, I noted a few maintenance issues, like uneven paintwork in common areas. It's a shame, because with a few adjustments, The Marine could really shine as a great spot to stay.

The sea view from my room was stunning, adding a beautiful touch to my stay. I appreciated the ease of parking nearby, which made my arrival smooth.
The room's cleanliness left something to be desired, especially with visible dust and dog hairs.
